Currently based in Yorkshire, UK, the super talented R1 (aka Rotaone) summises his background... "during the early eighties I developed an interest in graffiti as part of the hip hop culture. Graffiti got me looking at art for inspiration which got me onto a degree. I now work full time as an artist. I have over 20 years experience using spray paint as my chosen medium. For the last twelve years painting and creativity has been a way of life". He's also part of an elite team of talented and dedicated artists (Tpn crew) who regularly paint together as a unit and get invited to events all over the UK and Europe.
