Neverwork has emerged as one of the UK’s most popular street/urban artists. His working methods and processes however, have remained notoriously difficult to pin down, often working across mediums to create one single polymath. Neverwork continuously scavenges the city for materials to recycle into artworks. Bits of urban detritus, random elements, left-overs from the society of abundance and the world of obsolescence are fused together to create new meanings from the absence of meaning.
Influenced by situationist, structuralist and semiotic theories these new works expose both the lies and ugly truths that we accept as reality and are loaded and layered with meaning. It is this sense of historical context and desire for progress paired with a dedicated work ethic that is placing neverwork head and shoulders above many of his contemporary contemporaries. His work resides in private collections throughout Europe, Japan, and the USA.
