Herakut is a collaboration of Hera and Akut, two graffiti artists from Frankfurt and Erfurt. Working together since 2004, they combine contrasting styles of both spray paint and traditional painting methods in their highly stylised street works. Often after a background completed by Hera, Akut creates a detailed layer for a face without knowing what kind of body Hera will add. The mixing of the two very different styles often result in the finished piece being slightly schizophrenic, but visually stunning. One of the most sought after duos in the world of street/urban art.
